Text Box: OFFICERS FOR 2008 President—Bob Whelan Vice President—Gene Forsythe Treasurer—Larry Snyder Secretary/Newsletter— Terry McKee Our meetings are usually held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 pm at the Kemp Center for the Arts, 1300 Lamar in Wichita Falls, Texas. Our membership ages and experience vary greatly, but we offer something for almost every interest. New photographers can gain insight from masters of the art. State-of-the-art equipment mingles with traditional methods. We are an association of local amateurs who love photography and want to improve their craft and meet with others who love the art. Our mission is to connect, instruct, recognize, excite and serve our community. Text Box: The Club Connects: -Avid photographers through its meetings, outings and special events. -Experienced photographers with those less experienced. -Personal photographers with those in the marketplace, journalism, and the educational institutions. The Club Instructs: - Through meetings and seminars covering what’s new, what’s old, what works, and where to go. The Club Recognizes: - Everyone’s efforts at the art and craft of photography. - Those who have mastered the art and have served the Club. - Annual contributions of its members. - Members support at local shows. The Club Excites: - By giving a social occasion for hobbyists to speak of their craft. - By giving positive commentary on photos. - By sharing ideas. The Club Serves: - By giving an opportunity for service. - By making numerous club positions available. - By seeking opportunities to extend the craft to our youth.
